The Hometown Hero Story

Lukas Gilkey (a United States Coast Guard veteran) and Lewis Hamer started their work in business by selling handcrafted goods with the goal of giving back to the veteran community. However, they quickly realized that too few resources were available to help veterans transition back into society.

So, they decided to do something significant about it. Armed with their experience in cannabis and business, they founded Hometown Hero in 2015 with the mission to help veterans in need.

In 2021 alone, Hometown Hero donated over $100,000 to veteran causes and nonprofits. They firmly believe that all veterans should have access to cannabis as a form of relief and will continue to fight against Delta-8 bans so that those who need it can continue to get access.
